Continued the formula of the "Surfin Safari"/"409" single with the surf song on side "A" and the car song on side "B".
Exciting track, energetic vocals from Mike and the Boys and a spritited guitar solo from Carl make this my personal favorite BB car song.
Mike Love plays saxophone on this track.
0:16 Double tracking mistake, lead vocal on left says "revvin' up THEIR engines"; on right says "revvin' up OUR engines"
1:08-1:11 Double tracking of lead vocal off more than usual
1:46 Someone say "whoops."
